2026 CPAM Officer Election Candidates

Chris Brueningsen, Pennsylvania 1996, Secondary Representative

 

I am seeking election as Secondary Representative for CPAM to

continue supporting mathematics education and the broader educational

community.

With more than three decades in independent schools as a teacher,

department chair, and Head of School, I bring experience in curriculum

development, strategic planning, and professional growth. I remain

committed to advancing meaningful mathematics education for all

students.

I value collaboration and would work to elevate educator voices,

support professional learning, and contribute thoughtful leadership to the

CPAM board.

Sarah DiMaria, Texas 2021, Secondary Representative

 I am seeking election as High School Representative for CPAM. I believe we best learn in collaboration with others and am hoping to actively contribute to the CPAM community. I look forward to supporting the building of professional learning for CPAM members and share perspectives from the secondary lens.

John Seelke, Washington DC 2007, NCTM Representative

 I am seeking election as the NCTM Representative for CPAM to continue to collaborate and work with our national organization on common issues related to improving math education. I also hope to work with NCTM leaders to help advocate for the re-activation of the PAEMST program in a meaningful form or fashion.
